When do I need to arrive at the Arboretum?
The time on your ticket is the allocated time, we are asking all of our guests to arrive on time or 15 minutes beforehand.
Is there car parking available?
Yes, we have car parking available.
What are the dates and times?
An Evening with Santa runs Wednesday to Friday from the 24th of November to the 22nd of December between 5.30pm-8pm. Dates may change subject to demand (29th of November and 6th of December- there will be no Santa event on either of these dates)
How much are tickets?
Tickets are priced at €25 per adult, €35 per child, under 12 months go free.
Tickets are only valid for the chosen date and time of the booking only. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
How many people can attend per booking?
2 adults and up to 4 children per booking.
Can I purchase tickets on the night?
No, unfortunately not, all events are pre-book only.
What exactly does my ticket entitle me to?
Supper for both adults and children – 1 main meal and 1 hot chocolate (Hot Chocolate for children only)

Will the Christmas store be open on the night?
Yes, our store will be open until 9pm so you can pick up your Christmas decorations and gifts on the night.
Do I need to bring a printed ticket?
No, you can just show us the e-mail of your booking when you arrive.
What happens if I can’t make the Evening with Santa at the Arboretum or want to cancel?
Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
What about bad weather?
The Arboretum Evening with Santa is an Indoor/outdoor event and can be enjoyed in all weathers. However, if we have to close “An Evening with Santa” because of a weather warning issued (such as wind or heavy rain warning), you have the option to reschedule your visit. To reschedule you will need to call us on 059 9721558.
Why are seating arrangements allocated before each event?
Seating arrangements are allocated in advance to ensure a smooth and organised event experience for all attendees. It allows us to plan the layout efficiently, taking into account various factors like group size, preferences, and special requests.
Can I request changes to my seating arrangement on the evening of the event?
We kindly request that you do not request changes on the evening of the event. Making last-minute changes can be challenging and may disrupt the seating arrangements for other guests. To avoid disappointment, we recommend that you reach out to us well in advance if you have specific requests or requirements.
What if I have dietary restrictions or special needs?
If you have dietary restrictions or special needs, please inform us in advance during the booking process or by contacting our event coordinator. We will do our best to accommodate your requests and ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable experience.
Can I choose who I sit with during the event?
We aim to accommodate group seating preferences whenever possible. If you have specific seating requests or would like to sit with friends or family members, please let us know in advance, and we will make every effort to arrange seating accordingly.
When will I be notified of my seating arrangement?
You will receive your seating arrangement on the evening of the event. We do not provide seating information in advance, as arrangements are finalised just before the event to ensure an efficient and enjoyable experience for all attendees.
What should I do if I’m unhappy with my seating arrangement?
If you are unhappy with your seating arrangement or have concerns, please reach out to our event staff or coordinator in a courteous manner. We will do our best to address your concerns and make any necessary adjustments if possible.
Is the event wheelchair and pram-friendly?
Yes, the Arboretum is suitable for most prams and wheelchairs.
Is there accommodation on site?
No, there is no accommodation however there is accommodation available locally in Leighlinbridge.
Can we take pictures?
Yes, of course!
Is there a Christmas event this year at Arboretum Kilquade?
Sadly, Santa won’t be coming to our Kilquade store this year as we are working on the Kilquade site to make it bigger, brighter and better. We will be running our Christmas events at Kilquade from next year onwards.
