Adianthum raddianum 'Fragans' is a very delicate fern from the West Indies. The stems are black in colour with beautiful lime green leaves. Very easy to grow but needs high humidity, do not place in direct sun!

The lace fern is not a fern at all, but has gotten its name from its elegant frond like sprays. Starting out compact and busy, it will grow long stems of bright green, feathery fronds. A vigorous grower, it can reach 2.5m unless you keep it trimmed. It can also develop thorns, so be careful when handling.

May produce white flowers, which in tern become small, inedible berries.
