Essence Purple Lavender has masses of beautiful spikes of fragrant purple flowers with blue overtones rising above the foliage from early to late summer, which are most effective when planted in groupings.
The flowers are excellent for cutting. It has attractive green foliage. The fragrant needles are highly ornamental and turn coppery-bronze in fall.

'Rhubarb and Custard' is a compact, bushy, evergreen shrub with small, glossy, oval, pink-flushed, dark green leaves with irregular cream to pale yellow margins. Leaf tips and margins turn deep reddish-pink in cold weather.
Compact, dense, racemes of violet flowers bloom in late spring and early summer. A beautiful low maintenance shrub perfect for small gardens or grown in pots on a patio or balcony. Hebe 'Rhubarb & Custard' is also great for attracting butterflies and bees.

A compact lavender, named after Gertrude Jekyll's garden at Munstead Wood. It produces dense spikes of fragrant, bluish-purple summer flowers above slender, aromatic, grey-green leaves.
This is a lovely lavender for edging paths and borders; the aromatic foliage perfumes the air if you brush against it. The flower-spikes are highly attractive to bees and other nectar-loving insects.

'Avalanche' is a compact, semi-evergreen to evergreen shrub forming low, spreading mounds of dark green, coarsely serrated leaves. Saucer-shaped white flowers with small green eyes surrounded by a ring of small purple blotches are borne on short spikes in summer.
Goes well with other evergreen low growing shrubs and low alpines to the front of a border!

Lavandula angustifolia Hidcote produces dense spikes of fragrant, deep violet summer flowers above slender, aromatic, silvery-grey leaves. It is possibly the best lavender for edging paths and borders and produces a perfumed fragrance when you brush against it.
Cut back the stalks after the flowers have faded. Carefully trim back in April, taking care not to cut into old wood.
