Shopping Information for Reopening
The health, safety and wellbeing of our customers and team members is our utmost priority. We must do the right thing by the communities we live and work in to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19. We have implemented stringent procedures and taken the necessary steps laid out in the Government Return to Work Protocol and the latest public health advice. Here are a few updates so you can understand our new way of shopping at Arboretum:
Our staff are our family; We do not have the same numbers of staff for customer queries. We’d therefore ask you to be as brief as possible in your engagement with us (we miss the chats too). We hope to welcome all our staff back to the Arboretum as the months go on.
We have allocated every Tuesday and Wednesday from 9am to 11am to our vulnerable and at risk customers. Thank you for observing these time slots.
If there is something specific you would like our advice on, we’d appreciate it if you’d email us query (with a photo if it helps). We will have more time to help you away from the shop floor. Email email@example.com
Our playground and gardens are now open to the public in Leighlinbridge. Our playground in Kilquade is now open but the gardens do remain closed while we carry out essential maintenance and we hope to reopen them soon.
Our cafes in both locations have now fully reopened with restrictions and procedures in place to keep you safe. We ask you to respect these restrictions for both the safety of our staff and customers.
We are operating a walk-in and queing system in both cafes, no pre-booking is required for any sit down meals.
If you are bringing your children, we welcome them in a 1 child to 1 parent basis. We know the kids missed the Easter Egg hunt and other activities, and we look forward to all the family days that we’ll have when restrictions are lifted.
We have to limit the number of people in the store (customers plus staff), so please bear with us. We worked hard to create a more spacious, comfortable environment for you. We’d ask you to limit your time in the store to allow for comfortable shopping for everybody.
Our new signage will help you remember to keep your physical distance and it highlights where we’ve located hand sanitisers. Our screens and trolleys are sanitised throughout the day. Our toilet facilities are available for customer use; please remember to wash your hands.
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING. WE ARE DELIGHTED TO BE ABLE TO SERVE YOU AGAIN. STAY SAFE.
