Introducing our new Health & Wellness
We’re very excited to unveil our brand new wellbeing section in our Leighlinbridge store, chock full of products to calm the mind and nourish the body.
Now, more than ever, we need to look after ourselves and each other, and we felt that a wellness shop would complement our plant areas and evoke even more of those good feelings that nature and gardening deliver.
Barry Doyle and Nicole Foley have put a huge amount of work into sourcing organic and nature-based products from Ireland and overseas. We’ve invested in a stylish shop fit which is easy to navigate and shows the products off beautifully. We really hope you like it!
Nicole’s top picks
Nicole Foley, our Buyer and Visual Merchandiser, picks out three wellness ranges to look out for, all Irish!
Pestle & Mortar
Not too many Irish beauty brands can say they’ve been featured in Vogue, Vanity Fair and the New York Times and have consistently won global make-up and beauty awards. Pestle & Mortar can. Founders Sonia and Padraic Deasy started with a hyaluronic serum and its success spawned a sought-after range of innovative and very effective skincare products.
Dublin Herbalists
In 2013, herbalist and naturopath Claire Brett turned her hobby into a business. The simple moisturiser she developed in her kitchen from entirely natural ingredients proved so popular with family and friends that she launched Dublin Herbalists. Today the range includes creams, balms and oils for the face and body, all 100% natural and never, ever tested on animals.
Irish Botanicals
Fragrance fanatic Rachel McCann takes her inspiration from the herbs and flowers found in gardens throughout Ireland. The beautifully packaged collection includes candles, diffusers and perfumes based on scents that Rachel, a trained mixologist, has created herself. All the candles are 100% natural wax and the wicks are lead-free.
Discover these world-class Irish brands and many more in our new wellness area. Can’t wait to hear what you think!
Keep well and stay safe.
