Garden Centres Reopen
It feels so good to be able to tell you that we’ll be opening our doors in Leighlinbridge on Monday 18th and in Kilquade on Thursday 21st May! We can’t wait to see you.
We’ve done extensive work in the garden centres in terms of putting in place all the measures possible to protect you and our staff. We just wanted to quickly tell you about them.
Queuing outside
We’re managing the number of customers we have in our shops at any one time, so you may have to queue before we can let you in. In the queue, please allow 2 metres between you and the next person.
Cafe open for take away
Rachel’s Garden Cafe will open (for take-away only) in Leighlinbridge on Thursday 21st May and very soon in Kilquade, keep an eye on our social media channels. There will be a one-way system in place, and all food and drink items will be packaged for take-away. You’ll be able to grab a take-away coffee from the coffee truck in Leighlinbridge from Monday.
Shopping safely
Inside the store, we’ve put navigational markings on the floor to guide you through the store safely. We have installed hand sanitiser stations and signage to remind you to keep yourself 2 metres away from other shoppers and Arboretum staff.
Payment
We’ve built Perspex screens around our checkouts and are requesting you to make card and contactless payments. Floor markings will show you how to safely queue.
We’re here to help
We’re so happy to have the majority of our garden centre staff members back. They’ve all undergone online training on working under the current guidelines and will help you stay safe while you’re with us.
We have implemented stringent procedures and taken the necessary steps as part of the Government Return to Work Protocol and the latest Public Health Advise. Please follow the link below so you can understand our new way of shopping in the Arboretum:
