We are currently recruiting for a Social Media Executive to join our team at Arboretum (Across all 3 of our stores).
Key Job Responsibilities:
• Work with the Marketing Team to plan, create, and schedule engaging content across Arboretum’s social media platforms, ensuring brand consistency and a strong visual identity.
• Manage day-to-day social media activity including posting, community management, and responding to messages and comments in a timely and professional manner.
• Capture high-quality photo and video content on-site, showcasing gardens, retail spaces, products, events, and seasonal moments.
• Support the promotion of campaigns, events, and key trading periods through creative and compelling social storytelling.
• Monitor, analyse, and report on social media performance, engagement, and growth metrics, providing insights and recommendations to inform content planning and improve reach and impact.
• Work with marketing to support Arboretum’s influencer and creator outreach programme, including identifying opportunities, coordinating visits, briefing creators, tracking content delivery, and helping to build long-term relationships with aligned partners.
• Work closely with retail, horticulture, and café teams to identify content opportunities and tell authentic Arboretum stories.
• Stay up to date with social media trends, platform updates, and emerging content formats.
• Ensure all content reflects Arboretum’s sustainability values, customer focus, and brand reputation.
The Ideal Candidate:
• Has proven experience managing social media platforms for a brand or business.
• Is creatively driven with a strong eye for photography, video, and visual storytelling.
• Has excellent written communication skills and an ability to adapt tone for different audiences and platforms.
• Is organised, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Has a genuine interest in lifestyle, gardening, food, or sustainability-led brands.
• Experience using social media scheduling and analytics tools is desirable.
• Comfortable working on-site and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Own transport is required, as the role will involve regular on-site content creation across Arboretum’s three locations.

Senior Horticulturist – Arboretum Urban Green, Dublin City Centre

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Horticulturist to manage our Arboretum Urban Green Store in Dublin City Centre.
Key Job Responsibilities:
• To provide a professional friendly, and efficient service to customers, understanding the needs and requirements, working to exceed these wherever possible.
• To assist in a proactively driving sales and service across the store through a strong sales team with excellent product knowledge and customer service.
• To provide a point of contact for customer enquiries, dealing with these through a successful outcome and maintaining company standards.
• Ability to assist with tasks and the day to day running of the Store.
• Keep up to date with current product knowledge and customer trends.
• Ensure all relevant POS, plant labelling and displays are correct and up to date.
• Assist management by overseeing goods inwards, wastage control, stock control and stock taking, ensuring they are conducted in line with company policies.
• Merchandising to our high award-winning standards to surprise and delight our customers in this unique urban garden offering.
The Ideal Candidate:
• Will be able to demonstrate a love of gardening and good general knowledge of gardening and plants.
• Must be able to build and maintain customer relationship, delivering an excellent customer service.
• A horticultural qualification is essential plus a love of gardening and plants. A successful candidate will be able to demonstrate they have an adequate level of gardening knowledge to be a part of a professional, friendly and motivated horticultural retail team.
• Experience in horticultural retail, or general retail is not essential but desirable, candidates with suitable experience will be at an advantage.
• A successful candidate will be one who is willing to continue learning and expand their knowledge of horticulture, to assist in proactively driving sales and provide excellent product knowledge and service to our customers.
