We are currently recruiting for a Fashion Sales Supervisor to join our team at Arboretum Leighlinbridge.
Key Job Responsibilities:
• Supervise and support the fashion retail team to deliver outstanding customer service and achieve sales targets.
• Lead by example on the shop floor, providing styling advice and creating a warm, engaging customer experience.
• Support the day-to-day running of the fashion department, including opening/closing procedures and team coordination.
• Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and presentation in line with Arboretum’s brand and seasonal direction.
• Assist with stock management, including deliveries, stock rotation, replenishment, and stock takes.
• Act as a point of contact for customer queries and support the resolution of issues in a professional manner.
• Assist with staff training and onboarding, sharing product knowledge and sales best practices.
• Support management with promotions, events, and sales initiatives within the fashion department.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety standards.
The Ideal Candidate:
• Has previous experience in fashion retail, with supervisory or team-lead experience desirable.
• Has a strong interest in fashion, trends, and styling, with an eye for detail and presentation.
• Is confident engaging with customers and delivering a personalised, high-quality service.
• Has strong communication and leadership skills, and enjoys supporting and motivating a team.
• Is organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Experience in visual merchandising is an advantage.
• An interest in sustainability and ethical fashion is desirable and aligns with the Arboretum brand.

We are currently recruiting for a Gardener/Landscaper to join our Outdoor Gardens team at Arboretum Kilquade – The National Garden Exhibition Centre.
Key Job Responsibilities:
• Maintain and enhance the outdoor gardens, landscaped areas, and exhibition spaces to Arboretum’s award-winning standards.
• Carry out all aspects of horticultural maintenance including planting, pruning, weeding, mulching, lawn care, and plant health monitoring.
• Assist with the creation and implementation of planting schemes, seasonal displays, and landscape features.
• Ensure gardens and pathways are clean, safe, and welcoming for visitors at all times.
• Support irrigation management, soil improvement, and pest/disease control in line with sustainable practices.
• Work closely with the wider horticultural team to deliver high-quality garden presentation and visitor experiences.
• Provide a friendly, helpful presence for customers exploring the gardens, responding to enquiries where appropriate.
• Assist with maintenance tasks, project work, and the day-to-day running of the gardens and exhibition centre.
The Ideal Candidate:
• Has a genuine love of gardening and strong practical horticultural skills.
• Possesses previous experience in gardening, landscaping, groundskeeping, or a similar outdoor role.
• Holds a horticultural qualification or is working towards one (desirable but not essential for the right candidate).
• Enjoys working outdoors year-round and is physically capable of performing hands-on gardening tasks.
• Is enthusiastic, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a motivated horticultural team.
• Shows a willingness to learn and develop horticultural knowledge in line with Arboretum’s high standards.
• Has good communication skills and a customer-friendly approach when interacting with visitors.
