Do this masterclass, which includes a demonstration of how to plant summer bulbs in planters, and you’ll have all the knowledge you need to enjoy a riot of summer colour provided by the likes of Alliums, Freesias, Lilies, Gladioli, Irises and many more.
Who is this course for?
Anyone interested in having some beautiful summer colour in their lives. You don’t have to have a huge garden for this course to be useful – bulbs work very well in small suburban gardens and even in a planter on the balcony. This course is suitable for all levels – you don’t have to be a Monty Don to be successful when planting summer bulb!
This masterclass includes:
A presentation covering the how, where, when and why of summer bulb planting
Lots of pictures, and a glimpse into the speakers’ gardens
A demonstration of how to plant summer bulbs in a planter
Fill a pot of summer bulbs for all attendees
Complimentary tea or coffee
A raffle of the demonstration planters

The Summer Bulb Masterclass takes place on Saturday 22nd February from 12.00 to 1pm at Arboretum Carlow and Arboretum Kilquade.

The class will take place in a classroom-style setting so no need to worry about keeping warm!
