The Arboretum Christmas Experience starts with the opening of Santa’s magic post box on November 1st to December 14th. Simply buy a very special Christmas stamp in-store, post the letter and it goes straight to Santa who will note who’s been naughty or nice and send a personalised response. Let the little ones post their Christmas wishes to Santa in-store with all proceeds going to our nominated charity the Laura Lynn foundation.
Then back by popular demand, Santa and his elves will be arriving exclusively by helicopter straight from the North Pole for a free event to create a blizzard of excitement and surprise all the boys and girls! Keep an eye out for this exclusive date coming soon!
And there’s more…As ‘Tis the season to be jolly’ why not let the little ones enjoy an enchanted breakfast with the big man himself…Santa! Start the day in style with a delicious breakfast and a sing along with Santa and the entertaining elves. Tickets are now on sale so make a date with a difference on November 24th, December 1st, 8th, 15th and 22rd at 9.30am or 11am.
Explore the Christmas magic throughout the store with festive, interactive illuminations which will leave children beaming with excitement. Take some family pictures with our christmas characters. Plus discover the musical elf band plus a musical penguin band too.

Arboretum Kilquade, The National Garden Exhibition Centre, Wicklow opens its door this Christmas to welcome the young and the young at heart to experience a truly festive atmosphere to celebrate all things Christmas.
Back by popular demand, Arboretum’s magical Santa’s Grotto opens on December 1st and every weekend up until December 23nd from 12pm, 1pm, 2pm & 3pm. Once you walk in the door Santa’s elves and Mrs Claus will welcome your family into a wonderful festive grotto so the little ones can tell Santa in person what they would like for Christmas. After this enchanting visit children can warm up with a complimentary hot chocolate with marshmallows from our restaurant…a perfect winter warmer.
