Arboretum – Data Administrator

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven, disciplined and ambitious individual to join the Arboretum team as Data administrator. The primary focus of this proactive role will be on developing and maintaining Arboretums EPOS/Stock Control system. The data administrator will play centre stage in data entry management of supplier information and stock committal and aspects of EPOS support to the management and sales team. This is a key role within Arboretum that will be both demanding and highly rewarding. What specific responsibilities will you have
  • Carry out data imports for new suppliers, products & customers, maintaining data accuracy & integrity is kept to required standards.
  • Liaising with department managers to organise and manage schedule for data creation according to seasonality and requirements.
  • Complete invoice matching and stock committal in accordance with guidelines outlined by the financial accountant.
  • Create and produce reports from our Epos system as required for management team.
  • Setup up promotions and discount schemes as outlined by Department managers.
  • Work closely with department managers to ensure stocktaking schedule is carried out on a cyclical basis and timelines are adhered to
  • Work with managers and staff to ensure all dishes are presented appropriately
  • Liaising with suppliers to follow up information and credit requests as required.
  • New user setup and Security and Permissions control
 
Key Requirements:
  • 3rd level business degree desirable
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Highly organised and able to work to deadlines.
  • Excellent computer skills (predominantly advance excel)
  • Previous Epos experience is desirable but not essential

Job Overview

Senior Chef de Partie/Sous Chef to include weekend work.

This position would be primarily based in our café located within the Arboretum Home & Garden Heaven in Leighlinbridge

Working 5 over 7 days (weekend work required), the hours offered are up to 40 per week.

Reporting to the Head Chef & Catering Manager, the successful candidate will be a talented, creative chef, will have excellent customer service and communication skills and will be reliable and flexible in their work.

This role is for an immediate start. Applicants must be permitted to work up to 40 hours per week in Ireland and will be asked to provide confirmation of this at interview (GNIB stamp 4 / residency etc)

  • Responsible for directing all daily activities of your section
  • Maintaining and delivering the highest standards of product, service health and safety on a daily basis
  • Helping lead and motivate the junior kitchen staff
  • Developing recipes and dishes in conjunction with the kitchen management
  • Liaising with the café and catering managers to ensure that all customer expectations are met
  • Work with managers and staff to ensure all dishes are presented appropriately
  • Presenting a clean, neat and organised environment for customers
  • Be prepared to speak with customers in relation to feedback and questions
